History of Tabernacle of Worship
In 1993, two small churches—Air Itam Family Church, under the leadership of Brother Lee Kah Hong, and Immanuel Tabernacle, pastored by Pastor Joshua Low—came together to form Tabernacle of Worship. Pastor Joshua Low Seng Thye became the founding pastor, and we initially worshipped on the third floor of Wayton Court.
Tabernacle Of Worship is affiliated with NECF Malaysia and remains a member of the Penang Minister’s Fellowship.
Our Aim

We focus on equipping and edifying believers for the work of the Lord, embracing the five-fold ministry: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
Our Goals
- • Inspiring Worship: To lead our congregation in corporate worship that inspires (horizontal) and glorifies (vertical) God. We aim to develop individual worship in our members, making it a lifestyle rather than just an event. (Upward in worship)
- • Praying Church: To instill in our congregation the absolute need to rely upon God’s promises and trust in His wisdom. We do this by developing an attitude, atmosphere, and venue for corporate prayer, and by encouraging each member to strengthen their relationship with God through constant and fervent private prayer. (Inward in fellowship)
• Sharing Church: To teach and encourage a habit of giving and sharing among one another, motivated by the example of God in Christ. (Outward in witness)
Our Vision
- We envision a church that is strong in love, unity, authority, and power, with every member engaged in ministry to fulfill the Great Commission. We aim to impact our nation for the glory of God, being a present truth church that releases the new generations for the end-time revival.
